No Bigger Than a Thumbnail

Taken at Nibela Peninsula, South Africa

We had walked around for about 2 hours exploring our surrounds when we took a break under a fever tree. Some of our group were climbing the tree, others napping and some of us continued to see what was in the grass. One of the guys found a small frog, no bigger than his thumbnail that our instructor said was a “Natal Reed Frog.” I have not been able to find this in a book (other than it may be a “tree” rather than “reed” frog but we’ll go with it anyway given he has much more experience frogging that I do!
