Can I Help You?

Taken at Augrabies National Park, South Africa

Whilst camping for a few days at Augrabies National Park, I spent a lot of time hiking around the edges of the spectacular waterfalls and watching the wildlife that moves in and around the lookouts and campsite. A common sight are the Rock Dassies (or Rock Hyraxes) which live around the rock faces by Augrabies Falls. Watching them running around in little groups, sunning themselves and occassionally making little noises was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon, especially with the roaring sound of the falls in front of you.
