Zebra’s Sitting In The Budding Summer

These two Zebra’s at “Kruger Park” remained still enough to capture them. The usual camouflage offered by their stripes when in motion can detract from a really clear image, but in this case, I think they really stand out beautifully, against the grass and the newly bloomed coloured leaves.

Zebras, there are several species of African zebra’s, they form part of the horse family, they have distinctive black and white stripes. Their stripes come in different patterns, unique to each individual. They are generally social animals that live in large herds, unlike their closest relatives, horses and donkey’s; zebras have never been truly domesticated.
