Black On White

A beautiful reflection on a strong family bond. Almost always found in small, tightly knit groups, the Zebra is one of those weird and wonderful creatures of Africa, still managing to fit right in despite it’s stand out colours.

For those wondering why camouflage is poor with respect to the beige African landscape, take a moment to think about what a whole herd of Zebras running in different directions away from a predator might look like to your eyes, an optical illusion? Pretty much. Their stripes combined with frantic panic amongst the herd will confuse any predator despite how good their eyesight is, making the whole group seem like one large tasty lunch! Isn’t it magic how nature works sometimes.
